Hey there everyone – Happy WIAW! This week’s post will be short and sweet (literally… check out the cake at the end). Anywho… today (Tuesday 9/18) is my second wedding anniversary, so I’m not spending too much time on blogging tonight.
Fall good habits check-in: hot yoga is still going good – I’ve found a few teachers I really like, so their classes are being added to my weekly routine. Additionally, I’ve been making more of an effort to run on a regular basis, something I let slide after running the half marathon in June. I’ll be running a 5K at the beginning of November with a group of friends so I want to make sure I’m up to par!
Without further ado, here’s the eats!
Breakfast: Steel cut oats with flax seeds and pomegranate seeds.
Mid-morning snack: Red plum
Lunch: Quinoa salad with veggies, greek yogurt w/ mangos (not pictured), apple slices with peanut butter
Now on to dinner! We went to Arrowhead Golf Club which is where our wedding reception was held. I had pulled pork sliders, a side of macaroni and cheese and one of the best pumpkin beers I’ve had this season, Southern Tier Pumking.
Dessert! Red velvet cake, one of my most favorite desserts, from Whole Foods. Not quite as good as our wedding cake, but still pretty darn good!
